My mom celebrates today her 50th birthday. She like turquoise alot, so the choice for today's manicure wasn't that hard. China Glaze - For Audrey:

This is one of my favorite China Glaze nailpolishes. It is because of the color, the application and the time it last. The drying time is also pretty short, which makes it even better.

Dit is een van mijn favoriete China Glaze nagellakken. Het is vanwege de kleur, de applicatie en de tijd dat het mooi blijft. De droogtijd is ook behoorlijk kort, wat het natuurlijk nog beter maakt.

In 5 days I will open my webshop. The website is almost ready and the products will arrive here any moment. I am very excited! I hope I can sell For Audrey soon, but I start with the Anchors Away Collection, the price will be 5,50 euro.

Essence - Glisten Up

Today I want to show you girls a nailpolish that reminds me of the winter, the snow and all the coldness that is here in Holland right now. Essence - Glisten Up.

Vandaag wil ik jullie een nagellak laten zien die me herinnert aan de winter, de sneew en al de kou die er nu is in Nederland. Essence - Glisten Up.

It is a very sheer nailpolish with a flakie effect and on it's own it not so beautiful as it can be. If you use this one over an cream of shimmer nailpolish it will be great. There is only one limitation and that is that you can only use it on blue's and purple's for a nice effect. This is because the main color is turquoise and one layer is not enough for the flakie effect. So for a good amount of flakies the turquoise color is visible. It is nice, but it is sad that it is not a transparant. But it is still good on your blue christmas manicures!

Het is een sheer nagellak met een flakie effect en op zichzelf is het niet op z'n mooist. Als je het over een creme of een shimmer nagellak gebruikt is het prachtig. Er is alleen een nadeel en dat is dat je het alleen kan gebruiken over blauwe en paarse nagellak voor een mooi effect. Dit komt omdat de basis kleur turkoois is en een laag is niet voldoende voor het flakie effect. Dus bij een goede hoeveelheid flakies komt de turquoise kleur ook meer naar voren. Het is mooi, maar jammer dat het niet in een transparante versie is verschenen. Maar het is nog steeds leuk voorje blauwe kerst manicures!

Today I want to show you this pretty and funny lacquer. Some will notice it and for others it is totally new, but everybody has to admit that the principle is very fun:

Vandaag wil ik jullie graag dit ontzettend leuke lakje laten zien. Sommige zullen er allang bekend mee zijn, voor andere is het totaal nieuw, maar iedereen moet toegeven dat het principe erg leuk bedacht is:

As you can see the tip of my nails are in a different color then the rest of my nail. This is because of a nice trick in the Moodpolishes of Claire's Cosmetics. It works very simple, everything that is warm turns light turquoise/green and everything that is cold turns dark turquoise/blue. Your nail-bed is always warmer because of the body heat and the free tip will be colder and this is how the effect works.

Zoals jullie zien is het uiteinde van mn nagel anders van kleur dan de rest van mijn nagel. Nou dit wordt veroorzaakt door een leuk snufje wat verwerkt is in de Moodpolishes van Claire's Cosmetics. Het werkt heel simpel, alles wat warm is neemt de licht turkooise/groene kleur aan en alles wat koud is wordt donker turkoois/blauw. Het nagelbed is natuurlijk door lichaamswarmte altijd warmer dan de vrije tip en zo ontstaat het effect.

I think it is really funny and I would like to have them all, but at this moment I only have this one.

Ik vind het erg grappig en ik wil ze graag allemaal hebben, maar momenteel heb ik alleen deze in mijn bezit.

Advantages. It is original. It is a nice color combinatio. It is a fun bottle. It is easy to remove.

Voordelen op een rijtje. Het is origineel. Het is een leuke kleurencombinatie. Het is een grappig flesje. Het is makkelijk te verwijderen.

Disadvantages. It is a weird structure and it doesn't applie nicely. Topcoat is a must have. Enoying brush. Effect isn't visible when you have short nails.

Nadelen op een rijtje. Het is een vreemde structuur en smeert niet echt lekker. Topcoat vereist. Irritant kwastje. Effect is niet zichtbaar bij korte nagels.

That are many negative points, but the nice effect is special right and yes I way buy it again. And so I want them all from this collection.

Dat zijn best wat nadelen, maar het leuke effect weegt wel zwaar natuurlijk en dus zou ik het ook weer opnieuw kopen. En dus ook alle andere uit de collectie.

Today again a wonderful polish from China Glaze. If it is correct I will receive practical the whole collection of OMG, so soon you may expect these on my blog. For now no holographic stuff, but a georgous turquoise color.

Vandaag weer een geweldig mooi lakje van China Glaze. Als het goed is krijg ik vanmiddag praktisch de hele collectie van OMG binnen, dus die kunnen jullie binnenkort verwachten. Voor nu dus nog eventjes geen holografisch gebeuren, maar een geweldig mooie turkooise lak.

Look... everyone has got to agree.. so beautiful turkquoise. And in the picture the light isn't very well, so if it does it will give a beautiful shine on your nails. Absolutely a color for the summer.

Kijk dan... daar moet iedereen het toch wel over eens zijn.. zo mooi turkoois. En nu valt het licht nog niet eens goed, kan je nagaan zo'n prachtige schittering op je nagels. Absoluut een kleurtje op de zomer.

It's easy to apply en in 2 coats it will cover your nails. Is it a proper lacquer to stamp on? I don't know.. I tried blue, but it wasn't nice. I will try in a while all my stamp colors on this one.

Het is makkelijk aan te brengen en in 2 coats is het ook echt dekkend. Een geschikt lakje om op te stempelen? Ik weet het niet.. ik had blauw uitgeprobeerd, maar dat stond echt niet mooi. Ik zal over een poosje eventjes al mijn stempelkleuren er op uitproberen.

A disadvantage is that you constantly stare at your nails, but if it is really a negative thing...

Het nadeel is dat je er zelf constant naar blijft staren, maar of dat echt een nadeel is valt te betwijfelen.

I will wrap my gifts for the game tomorrow. I know it's going to be a fun afternoon/evening. And after that I will prepare some things for my class for this afternoon. And tonight I will be in front of my tv ofcourse, hoping that Holland can win and goes to the finales. That would be amazing!

Ik ga mijn cadeautjes inpakken voor het spel van morgen. Het wordt vast een hele gezellige middag/avond. En daarna zal ik nog wat dingen voorbereiden voor mijn les van vanmiddag. En vanavond uiteraard voor de tv en hopen dat Nederland kan winnen en in de finale terecht komt. Dat zou wel echt heel gaaf zijn!
