China Glaze - Towel Boy Toy

The sun is sooooo nice! I studied the whole day in my backyard and i finished the book I had to read before the end of may. So now I have all the time left for my paper, it's about drugs and addictions, very interesting. Personally I don't smoke, don't use drugs and don't really drink alcohol, so when I started I really didn't had any feeling with the subject. But it is absolutely very interesting.

De zon is zoooo lekker! Ik heb de hele dag gestudeerd in mijn achtertuin en ik het heb boek uit wat ik gelezen moest hebben voor eind mei. Dus nu heb ik alle tijd voor mijn paper, het gaat over drugs en verslavingen, erg interessant. Zelf rook ik niet, gebruik ik geen drugs en drink ook niet echt alcohol, dus toen ik hieraan begon had ik niet echt feeling met het onderwerp. Maar het is absoluut erg interessant.

I totally love this kind of blue, it is sweet, it is blue and it is still outstanding. At this moment i layered it with some glitter, which makes it even more pretty, i will show you the results tomorrow. Bahamian Escape is a one-coater! A must-have for the summer (or whenever you want to wear it, who cares ;))!

Ik hou echt heel erg van deze kleur blauw, het is lief, het is blauw en het is nog steeds opvallend. Op dit moment heb ik er een laagje glitter overheen, wat het nog mooier maakt, morgen zal ik jullie het resultaat laten zien. Bahamian Escape is een one-coater! Echt een must-have voor de zomer (of wanneer je het dan ook wilt dragen, who cares ;))!

BM08 Koninginnedag 2011

Lieve lezers,

It is a little late, i know i know, but I still wanted to show you my manicure on Queensday! It was the best day ever! I went to the market, 7 o'clock... and till 5 o'clock in the afternoon I painted nails, non stop. It was such a populair attraction and so much fun to do, so I will be there again next year girls!

Het is een beetje laat, ik weet het ik weet het, maar ik wilde nog mijn manicure van Koninginnedag laten zien! Het was een super dag! Ik ging naar de vrijmarkt, om ongeveer 7 uur sochtends... en tot 5 uur smiddags heb ik non stop nagels gelakt. Het was echt een hele populaire attractie en zo ontzettend leuk om te doen, dus volgend jaar ben ik er weer meiden!

I totally love oranje and there isn't a better day to use it then on Queensday! I choose China Glaze - Breakin, simple but beautiful orange. Then I stamped the crowns in the colors of the Dutch flag: red, white, blue. Super simple, but super fun and effective for a day like this. Can't wait till next year!

Ik ben helemaal gek op oranje en er is geen betere dag om het te gebruiken dan met Koninginnedag! Ik heb gekozen voor China Glaze - Breakin, simpel maar mooi oranje. Daarna heb ik kroontjes er op gestempeld in de kleuren van de Nederlandse vlag: rood, wit, blauw. Super simpel, maar super leuk en effectief op een dag als deze. Kan niet wachten tot volgend jaar!

Orly - Snowcone

I just had my first customer! I am so enthousiastic about my shop, but at this moment I only have a few Orly nailpolishes for sale, but I hope that in the beginning of next week I receive my products of Konad, China Glaze and Zoya.

Ik heb net mijn eerste klant gehad! Ik ben zo enthousiast over mijn winkeltje, maar op dit moment heb ik alleen een aantal Orly nagellakken in de verkoop, ik hoop dat begin volgende week ik de producten van Konad, China Glaze en Zoya ontvang.

Back to Orly, I have different nailpolishes from the Sweet Collection for sale, but I have only two of them. One is of them is Snowcone, this is my own bottle:

This is I think my favorite pastel blue nailpolish. Why? Because it is a one-coater in a big big bottle! The application and drying time are easy and fast. It is also pretty long-lasting, I sport alot and still after a week without one chip.

Dit is denk ik mijn favoriete pastel blauwe nagellak. Waarom? Omdat het een one-coater in een groot groot flesje is! De applicatie en de droogtijd zijn makkelijk en snel. Het blijft ook best lang mooi, ik sport veel en na een week nog geen een keer gechipt.

Sinful Colors - Night Of Barbados

Today I will finish my website, but you can't buy anything yet. That will start, I think, on wednesday. But you can take a look!

Vandaag zal ik mijn website afmaken, maar je kan nog niets kopen. Dat begint, denk ik, op woensdag. Maar dan kan je vast een kijkje nemen!

Night Of Barbados is not an ordinary blue nailpolish. It is almost duochrome, but the changes are not that big. So I would like to call it more a shimmer then a duochrome. But it is still very pretty. The nailpolish is a little big thick which gives a little trouble with application and the drying time is not so fast. So you need a little patience, but then you have a beautiful original blue manicure.

Night Of Barbados is geen gewone blauwe nagellak. Het is bijna duochroom, maar de verandering zijn niet zo groot. Dus ik zou het liever een shimmer noemen dan een duochroom. Maar het blijft erg mooi. De nagellak is wel een beetje dik waardoor het wat problemen geeft bij het aanbrengen en de tijd die nodig is om te drogen is ook niet heel kort. Dus je hebt wat geduld nodig, maar dan heb je ook een originele blauwe manicure.

Zoya - Tart

Today I wear this beautiful blue shade of Zoya. It's called Tart. Normally I don't really like this kind of blues but I have to admit that this one really caught my eye and I love it!

Vandaag draag ik deze prachtige blauwe kleur van Zoya. Het heet Tart, Normaal gesproken hou ik niet zo van dit soort blauw, maar ik moet toegeven dat deze me echt opviel en dat ik er gek op ben!

Tart is a blue shimmer but close to metallic. It is a dark blue with a light blue glow which is why it is so pretty. I adore Zoya nailpolishes because they have one of the best applications, great colors and they are always original!

Tart is een blauwe shimmer maar het ligt tegen metallic aan. Het is een donker blauwe kleur met een licht blauwe gloed en daarom is het zo mooi. Ik hou van Zoya nagellak omdat zij een van de beste applicaties hebben, het zijn mooie kleuren en ze zijn altijd origineel!

Orly - Sky Blue Pink

Good news, good news! My foot was hurting so badly since I got the rubber cast. So yesterday I went back to the hospital and a doctor took finally time to look at it, because it is 5 weeks ago now. He said oke let's try it without any cast at all. So now I have this kind of sock for support and I can walk a little bit! And the pain is almost completely gone. I am so happy that he came up with this suggestion!

Goed nieuws, goed nieuws! Mijn voet deed zo ontzettendveel pijn nadat ik het rubbere gips had gekregen. Dus gisteren kon ik terecht naar het ziekenhuis en de dokter nam eindelijk echt de tijd om er naar te zijn, want het is nu 5 weken geleden. Hij zei oke laten we het proberen zonder gips. Dus nu heb ik een soort steunkous en ik kan een beetje lopen! En de pijn is praktisch verdwenen. Ik ben zo blij dat hij met dit idee kwam aanzetten!

It is made for French Manicure, but I don't think the same about that. I love to layer this one over all my other nailpolishes and the effect is duochrome blue/pink + the color of the original nailpolish. Very cool! Like this... hmm maybe I will wear it sometime like this. I love Orly alot, it is always of good quality and the results are always awesome, just like this one! I want Orly, I want Orly!

Het is gemaakt voor French Manicure, maar ik heb er een andere mening over. Ik hou er echt van om deze te gebruiken als finish over mijn andere nagellak. Het effect is duochrome blauw/roze + de kleur van de basis nagellak. Heel cool! Zoals het nu is zonder andere lak... hmm misschien zal ik het wel eens dragen zoals nu. Ik ben echt gek op Orly, het heeft altijd een goede kwaliteit en de resultaten zijn gewoon super gaaf, net als bij deze! Ik wil Orly, ik wil Orly!

China Glaze - 2NITE

Tonight I will celebrate my birthday for the last time this year, but it's going to be good, I feel it!
Vanavond zal ik mijn verjaardag voor de laatste keer vieren dit jaar, maar het wordt vast heel gezellig!

It is a holographic nailpolish from the OMG collection. This one I really adore. Because the holographic effect is very good visible in this one. One coat could be enough, but to be sure I used 2 coats. It dries very quick and I love that. Also very easy to remove. Sometimes I hear people complain about chipping very fast, but with this one I never experienced that.

Het is een holografische nagellak van de OMG collectie. Ik ben echt gek op deze, want het holografische effect is duidelijk zichtbaar bij deze. Een coat is genoeg, maar voor de zekerheid heb ik een tweede coat gebruikt. Het droogt erg snel en daar hou ik wel van. Net zoals het verwijderen wat erg makkelijk is. Soms hoor ik mensen klagen over het feit dat deze lakken snel chippen, maar met deze heb ik dat nog nooit ervaren.

Diamond Cosmetics - Blue Fantasy

Today I want to show you a nailpolish that really surprized me! Because the color in the bottle is pretty pale and on your nails it is still a very light color, but when there shines light on it, it is looking like some kind of metal! It's great! It's Blue Fantasy!

Vandaag wil ik jullie een nagellak laten zien die mij echt veraste! Want de kleur in het flesje is best wel licht en op je nagels is het nog steeds een erg lichte kleur, maar wanneer er licht op valt lijkt het een soort van metaal! Het is echt geweldig! Het is Blue Fantasy!

This is like I said a cute pale color in the bottle, but with light it looks amazing! On the photo you can see that it lights up with the flash, but in real life with light or sunshine the same effect! It is so easy to apply, like many other Diamond Cosmetics. But I didn't have a nailpolish yet with this effect and that's why it is special to me.

Zoals ik al zei het is een schattige lichte kleur in het flesje, maar met licht er op ziet het er geweldig uit! Op de foto kan je zien dat het op licht door de flits, maar in real life met licht of zon krijg je het zelfde effect! Het is ontzettend makkelijk aan te brengen, zoals vele andere Diamond Cosmetics. Maar ik had nog niet een nagellak die zo'n effect als deze gaf en daarom is ie toch wel speciaal voor me.

The name is also great, because this is something you hope and wish for. A pale nailpolish that is so hot on the nails. Great fantasy!

Essence - Pool Party

Goedemorgen allemaal

I would love to tell you what my life is all about, but at this moment.. I just can't do anything by myself. I mean ofcourse my foot hurt, but it hurts more to be dependent. That's why I normally work so hard. I absolutely want to be independent on every aspect of life. Because asking people for the smallest things sucks.

Ik zou jullie graag vertellen hoe het gaat met mijn leven, maar op dit moment.. ik kan gewoon niets zelfdoen. Kijk mijn voet doet pijn, maar het is nog veel erger om afhankelijk te zijn. Terwijl ik normaal altijd zo hard werk om dat te voorkomen. Want ik wil absoluut onafhankelijk zijn op elk vlak. Want mensen voor de kleinste dingetjes moeten vragen is echt verschrikkelijk.

Vandaag wil ik jullie een aardig oud nagellakje van Essence laten zien, Pool Party:

This one is absolutely different then Pool Party of China Glaze. But this one is my only glitter nailpolish of Essence. And I really think it is nice. But there is one negative point, take a look at the picture. This will never ever be opaque. And I am so sorry about that. Because I love the color, I love the glitter, application is fine, everything is fine, and then it is not opaque.. That means that this nailpolish dependents on other nailpolishes to make is opaque. Sucks right? ;)

Dit is absoluut anders dan Pool Party van China Glaze. Maar dit is mijn enige glitter nagellak van Essence. En ik vind het best wel leuk. Maar er is een negatief punt, kijk maar naar de foto. Dit zal nooit echt dekken. En dat vind ik best jammer. Want ik hou van de kleur, ik hou van de glitter, het aanbrengen gaat prima, alles is prima, maar het is gewoon niet dekkend.. Dat betekend dat deze nagellak afhankelijk is van andere nagellakken om het dekkend te maken. Sucks right? ;)

This was one of my first nailpolishes. I thought I have enough (how could I think I had ever enough ;)) pink and red, I want something wild... like... blue! And Etos sold this nailpolish. And I was so happy with it. Everybody was looking like wtf are you wearing :P I love that reaction :)

Dit was een van mijn eerste nagellakken. Ik dacht dat ik genoeg (hoe kon ik ooit denken dat ik genoeg had ;)) roze en rood, ik wilde iets opvallends... zoals... blauw! En de Etos verkocht deze nagellak. Dus ik was super blij met deze lak. Iedereen had echt zoiets van wtf draag jij jou :P Ik hou wel van die reactie :)

But it's more then a year ago and now I have a whole different look when it comes to nailpolishes. So I would like to say that it is an 'oke' nailpolish. It really has got this stunning color, but the application is not the best. There are so many brands that sell better nailpolish. But like I said when I started, I really loved it. So I think that if you want some nailpolish that is cheap and oke, go to Etos.

Maar het is nu meer dan een jaar geleden en sindsdien heb ik een hele andere kijk gekregen op nagellak. Dus nu zou ik zeggen dat het een 'oke' lakje is. Het heeft echt een geweldige kleur, maar de applicatie is niet al te best. Er zijn zoveel merken die betere nagellak verkopen. Maar zoals ik al zei toen ik het kocht, ik hield er echt van. Dus ik denk dat als je nagellak wilt die goedkoop en oke is, ga naar de Etos.

I will going back to my couch, because I can't sit to long with this stupid foot.. I am so done with it right now.. and I have to wait 4,5 days till I can go to the hospital. bleh.. I am looking forward to all your reactions!

After all the awards today, I still want to write a post about this nailpolish that really amazed me. It is from Diamond Cosmetics and it is this blue kind of nailpolish but with a silver something in it. I adore it!

Na alle awards van vandaag wil ik graag nog een post schrijven over de volgende nagellak en deze heeft me echt onder de indruk gekregen. Het is van Diamond Cosmetics en het is een soort blauwe nagellak maar met een zilver iets er in verwerkt. Ik ben er gek op!

Diamond Cosmetics was a brand that I didn't really knew so well. But I tried a few now and not even one dissapointed me! The application is very smooth and it dries pretty quick. So if you are in a hurry I recommend this nailpolish. It can really amplify your outfit. I can't decide if it is a fall or spring color. So I recommend to wear it all year long :)

Diamond cosmetics was een merk wat ik niet zo goed kende. Maar ik heb er nu een aantal geprobeerd en geen een heeft me teleurgesteld! De applicatie is heel glad en netjes en het droogt vrij snel. Dus als je haast hebt is dit echt de nagellak die je moet hebben. Het kan echt je outfit versterken. Ik kan niet beslissen of het nu een herfst of een lente kleur is. Dus ik raad aan om het het hele jaar te dragen :)

Orly - Lunar Eclipse

Three days of internship are already over. It is going so fast, but so well! Everything is working perfect. Everybody wants so work with me on this project. And in such a short time, I become very passionate about it. Sexual Health is a difficult topic for many people, but that's part of the reason why there are so many problems, because people don't want/like to talk about it.
I don't think I can make a big change, but maybe just for the hometown. And if there are some people who would like to do this research for other places it can become very big and effective!

Drie dagen van mijn stage zijn al voorbij. Het gaat zo snel, maar zo goed! Alles loopt zo goed. Iedereen is bereid om mee te werken aan dit project. En in zo'n korte tijd ben ik zo gepassioneerd geraakt. Seksuele gezondheid is een moeilijk onderwerp voor veel mensen, maar dat is een deel van de reden waarom er zoveel problemen bestaan, omdat mensen er niet over willen/durven praten.
Ik denk niet dat ik een grote verandering kan maken, maar misschien wel hier voor mijn geboorteplaats. En als er nog andere onderzoekers zijn die dit onderzoek op andere plaatsen zouden uitvoeren kan dit heel groot en effectief worden!

This collectie is amazing, absolute! This is maybe the less interesting one, but it is not boring at all! It is blue with a light blue duochrome, but this is sometimes hard to see. I like it when you can see direct that it is a duochrome. But the glitter is fantastic! To stare endlessly! If you take a look at the picture you see that when the light disappears it will become much darker. Removing is done with alluminium foil!

Deze collectie is echt waanzinnig, absoluut! Deze is misschien het minst interessant, maar zeker niet saai! Het is blauw met een lichtere blauw duochrome, en vandaar is ie soms wat lastig te zien. Ik hou er vooral van als het duidelijk is dat het duochrome is. Maar de glitter is fantastisch! Echt om eindeloos naar te staren! Op de foto zie je goed dat zodra het licht weg valt het meteen een heel stuk donker is geworden. Verwijderen doe ik met alluminium folie en dan gaat het prima!

NFu-Oh - 53

Today I want to show you a nailpolish that really impressed me. NFu-Oh - 53:

Vandaag wil ik jullie een nagellak laten zien die echt een indruk op me heeft gemaakt. NFu-Oh - 53:

It is a opal nailpolish. It has got a light blue base with blue and pink flakies. As you can see on the photo it is not opaque on itself. But over other nailspolish, all kinds of blue it is really stunning. I used 4 coats to see if I wouldever be opaque, but I don't think it will happen. So I will not wear this without an other base color. But I personally think it is important to show people how it look on its own. Application is very easy, didn't have problems with that. Drying time is also fast and the effect is just gorgeous! For removing I used alluminium foil and then you don't have any problems with this one.

Het is een opal nagellak. Het heeft een licht blauwe basis and blauwe en roze flakies. Zoals je kunt zien dekt deze lak niet van zichzelf. Maar over andere nagellak, alle soorten blauw, is het echt geweldig mooi. Ik heb hier 4 coats gebruik om te kijken of het ooit zou dekkend, maar ik denk niet dat dat gaat gebeuren. Dus ik zal deze ook niet dragen zonder een andere basis kleur. Maar persoonlijk vind ik het belangrijk om mensen te laten zien hoe een nagellak er uitziet op zichzelf. De applicatie is heel goed en simpel, ik had er geen problemen mee. De droogtijd is ook snel en het effect is echt geweldig! Voor het verwijderen gebruik ik alluminium folie en dan is er geen probleem hiermee.

At last I want to note that the bottles are even as beautiful as the nailpolishes itself. The bottles are shaped out of dresses with a corset, real pretty!

Als laatste wil ik nog benadrukken dat de flesjes even mooi zijn als de nagellak zelf. De flesjes zijn in de vorm van jurken met een korset, super mooi!

Hoi allemaal

Busy day, busy week. But friday it is all done, then a couple of days off and then I will start with my internship! I'm very excited. For the ones who are interested, I am going to do research to the need of adolecents between 14 and 25 for a consultation hour about sexual health. It might sound more scary then it is, it is just purelyif they would seek for help if they are facing problems. It will be my own research, with my own name. Other students are going to do parts of someone elses research. So I am pretty proud that I have reached this.

Drukke dag, drukke week. Maar vrijdag is het als het goed is klaar, dan een paar daagjes vrij en dan begint mijn stage! Super veel zin in. Voor degene die geinteresseerd zijn, ik ga een onderzoek doen naar de behoefte van jongeren tussen de 14 en 25 voor een spreekuur over seksuele gezondheid. Dit klinkt misschien enger dan het is, maar het gaat er dus puur om of ze hulp zouden zoeken in geval van problemen. Het wordt echt mijn eigen onderzoek, met mijn eigen naam er onder. Terwijl veel andere studenten gedeeltes van andere onderzoeken zullen doen. Dus ik ben echt best heel trots op dat ik dit nu al heb kunnen bereiken.

Today a nailpolish that matches my mood of today, sometimes it just do go the way you want it. Blue My Mind of Rimmel:

Vandaag een lakje wat goed bij mijn mood van vandaag past, soms wil het gewoon niet helemaal zoals je wil. Blue My Mind van Rimmel:

Is opaque, but in the first layer it looks more purple then blue. After the second it become more blue, but if you look at the picture you see a little purple influence. I personally think it is real beautiful. Nice dark blue. Rimmel has got a nice big brush, perfect! Appling is super easy, like the remvoing. And what I also like is that it doesn't chip fast.

Dekt prima, maar na de eerste laag lijkt het meer paars dan blauw. Bij de tweede wordt het al blauwer, maar als je naar de foto kijkt zie je wel wat paarse tinten er in. Ik vind het zelf een heel mooi lakje. Lekker donker blauw. Rimmel heeft een heel handig breed kwastje wat het aanbrengen makkelijker maakt, ideaal! Aanbrengen is dus super makkelijk, net als het verwijderen. Wat ik ook fijn vind is dat deze niet snel chipt.

M76 Bows A La Greece

Did you have enjoyed your sunday? I worked out some things and tomorrow my normal life will be back. But it will be different this year, first I have an internship and after I have to choose subjects that I will follow, this is ofcourse closer to my interests. I'm excited!

Fijne zondag gehad? Ik heb nog wat laatste dingetjes geregeld en morgen begint het normale leven weer. Al wordt het dit jaar wel iets anders, eerst moet ik stage lopen en daarna moet ik vakken volgen die ik zelf gekozen heb, dus deze liggen dichtbij mijn interesses. Ik ben benieuwd en ik heb er zin in!

Because I wanted to relive my holiday in Greece again, I made this manicure with Greek colors. I like that so much, the blue and white houses. I didn't make houses, but nice bows.

Om nog een keer heel eventjes van mijn vakantie te genieten in Griekenland had ik deze manicure gemaakt met de Griekse kleuren. Dat vind ik zo leuk hè aan Griekenland, die blauw witte huisjes. Ik heb hier dan alleen geen huisjes gemaakt maar leuke strikjes.

I used Konad image plate M76. I totally recommend this to anyone. so many nice patterns. But you need a little bit taller nails, because the images are pretty big. I took the bow with the small things around it and I stamped with Konad White. That is a good suggestion too, because white matches alot of colors. As basis I used China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le. Just love it. Color combination made me think of Greece.

Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van Konad image plate M76. Deze raadt ik echt aan iedereen aan, zulke leuke motiefjes. Je moet er alleen wel ietsje langere nagels voor hebben, anders passen ze er niet op. Dan heb ik natuurlijk het strikje met de frutseltjes er om heen gebruikt en gestempeld met Konad White. Dat is ook echt wel een aanrader, want wit past op vele kleuren. Als basislaag heb ik van China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le gebruikt. Hou er gewoon van. Zo de Griekse sfeer gecreerd.

China Glaze - Secret Peri-Wink-Le

What a days! Yesterday and the day before yesterday I had to take interviews through the whole country, but because of the rain it was very scary to drive on the highway. I could barely see sometime. That night I saw on the new that there were part of the country who had even more trouble with the rain, but I thought it was creepy. The water in the pond near us kept rising, and what if there would be too much water? But this afternoon the waterlevel was back to normal, no drama.

Wat een dagen zeg! Eergisteren en gisteren moest ik de weg op voor interviews door het hele land, maar door de regen was het echt eng op de snelwegen. Je kon echt amper wat zien. Savonds op het nieuws zag ik dat het in delen van het land nog veel erger was geweest, maar ik vond het best wel eng zo. Het water in de grote vijver voor ons bleef ook maar stijgen, en ja als ie overloopt.. wat dan? Maar goed het water stond vanmiddag weer op het normale peil dus geen drama gelukkig.

Today was our season opening for the selection group. There are now 24 girls and we went swimming what all of them and play funny games and had a nice lunch. Big succes! I'm really tired right now, because especially the little ones need attention all the time. But it went very well. And now I'm hoping for a very nice, good and sportive season!

Vandaag was de seizoens opening voor de wedstrijdgroep. Zijn nu 24 meiden en we gingen lekker zwemmen met z'n alle en spelletjes doen en lekker eten tussendoor. Groot succes! Ben nu wel echt gebroken, want vooral op die kleintjes moet je met zwemmen natuurlijk goed letten. Maar alles goed prima verlopen. En nu hopen op een heel leuk, goed en vooral sportief seizoen!

I was wearing Pool Party, but that one didn't survive our swim adventure and that's why I turned it into Secret Peri-Wink-Le. And I love it!

Ik had vandaag nog Pool Party op, maar die heeft het zwemavontuur niet overleefd en daarom draag ik nu Secret Peri-Wink-Le. En ik hou er van!

This one was very high on my wishlist and I bought it in my first China Glaze order. And this one didn't dissappoint me at all. Beautiful cream structure, not to watery, not to inflexibel, exactly right. This is a gorgeous demin blue / lavender blue color. They I love it. It is not a regular color like pink or red, still love them too, but this is something that people notice, but it will match very well with jeans and then it completes your look.

Deze stond erg hoog op mijn verlanglijstje en zat dus ook bij mijn eerste China Glaze bestelling. En deze stelde me op geen enkel punt teleur. Mooie cream structuur, niet te waterig, nie te stroperig, precies goed. Prachtige spijkerbroek blauw / lavendel kleur. Ja ik ben er echt gek op. Het is ook geen standaard kleur als roze en rood, maar ik ook van hou hoor, maar dit is gewoon iets wat opvalt, maar het matcht heel goed bij spijkerbroeken en dan vult het je look echt aan.

The removing part is very easy, even after 2 coats you need a just a little remover. I think doing my nails is the most fun part and the creations with Konad, but removing is just no fun. And then it is very nice when this part goes so easy.

Het verwijderen is ook echt heel simpel, zelfs na 2 lagen hoef je maar weinig remover te gebruiken. Ik vind het lakken altijd heel leuk en er de creaties met Konad op maken, maar er af halen is gewoon het minst leuke saaie gedeelte. En dan is het prettig als het zo makkelijk gaat als bij deze.

I want to wish my girls good luck and fun for the next season and I hope you're looking forward to it like myself. I also look forward to see my recreation and RG+ groups again. A few preparations and then I'm ready!

Ik wil graag via deze weg al mijn meiden heel veel succes en plezier wensen en hopelijk hebben jullie net zoveel zin in het nieuwe seizoen als ikzelf. China Glaze - Dorothy Who

Hoi Allemaal,

Thrilling today! In 6 hours Holland plays against Spain for the Worldtitle. Ofcourse I hope that Holland will win, but we don't have an easy opponent, so that will be hard for our team! I'm ready!

Spannend spannend vandaag! Over 6 uur speelt Nederland tegen Spanje voor de wereldtitel. Uiteraard hoop ik dat Nederland wint, maar we hebben niet de minste tegenstander, dus dat wordt hard werken voor ons elftal! Ik zit er in ieder geval al klaar voor!

Because my orange manicure isn't ready yet, I'll show you a laquer of last week. I get a lot of positive responses about this one. Also from people who are not into the nailpolish. People said that they didn't know that a blue nailpolish could be this beautiful.
China Glaze Dorothy Who:

Omdat mijn oranje manicure nog niet klaar is eventjes een lakje van vorige week. Ik kreeg hier veel positieve reacties op. Ook van mensen die niet zo into de nagellak zijn. Veel werd gezegd dat ze niet wisten dat een blauwe nagellak zo mooi kon zijn.

I think it is an amazing color. I love outstanding color and glitter and special effects in nailpolish. And this is a good example. There are 3 coats needed for good covering. But it dries very fast, so it will not take all your time by using this laquer.

Ik vind het zelf echt een waanzinnige kleur. Ik hou wel van opvallende kleuren en glittertjes en speciale effecten in nagellak. En dit is er gewoon een goed voorbeeld van. Er zijn 3 laagjes nodig voordat het echt goed dekt en het het bedoelde effect geeft. Maar het droogt erg snel en daardoor duurt het even lang voordat het netjes op je nagels zit als bij een nagellak die met minder laagjes dekt.

Especially in the sun this one is hot, because the light comes from a determined angle and then you see this wonderful glittering on the nails.

Vooral in de zon is het echt super, want het licht valt natuurlijk van een bepaalde kant en zo krijg je een prachtige schittering over je nagels. Je kan ze niet missen!

The only negative point is, but it has nothing to do with the laquer itself, that it is not suitable for work. This too prominant.

Het enige wat ik wel een nadeel vind, maar goed dat heeft weinig met de lak zelf te maken, is dat het niet gedragen kan worden naar het werk. Daar is ie te opvallend voor.

S04 Feng Shui

Aahh what a game! And we won! Oke the last goal is a pity, but we are through to the next round! Woehoe!

Aahh Wat een wedstrijd! En dan ook nog eens gewonnen! Beetje van dat laatste tegendoelpunt, maar ach we zijn door naar de kwartfinales! Woehoe!

Today not an orange laquer that will fit the day, but a Konad creation that I promised you.

Vandaag geen toepasselijk oranje lakje, maar wel een Konad creatie die ik nog beloofd had tijdens mijn tentamens.

There aren't many colors that will fit this grey blue nailpolish, but Pastel Violet is doing great.
I don't like it if people have to do a lot of effort to see what is on your nails. That's why I only use colors that really match each other. This one is relax but visible.

Er kunnen niet veel verschillende kleuren op deze grijs blauwe lak gestempeld worden, maar Pastel Violet doet het prima.
Ik vind het nooit zo leuk als mensen eerst heel moeilijk op je nagels moeten kijken wat er op staat. Daarom wil ik alleen duidelijke kleuren over elkaar. En dit is rustig en duidelijk zichtbaar.

Plus of course the whole idea that this nailpolish is taking care of my Feng Shui and a Chinese sign for 'prosperity'. That might help during tests.

Plus natuurlijk het idee dat dit lakje voor Feng Shui zorgt en een Chinees tekentje voor 'voorspoed'. Dat zou wel eens een steuntje in de rug kunnen zijn tijdens tentamens.

I like Chinese signs anyway. They are little and with details and that why I like image plate S04 so much, 7 nice signs that I will surely show you sometime.

Ik vind Chineze tekentjes sowieso leuk. Ze zijn klein en gedetailleerd en daarom vind ik image plate S04 zo leuk, 7 leuke tekentjes zien we ongetwijfeld nog langs gaan komen hier.

3,5 days and the I have my holiday. Nice thought, but I still need to work a bit.

O.P.I. Suzi Says Feng Shui

What a day... what a day... I just finished my statistics test and I worked months for that, toke extra classes and the pressure was huge. But I think I did a good job. Now still got nerves for the result.

Zo wat een dag zeg... wat een dag... Ik had vandaag mijn statistiek tentamen en daar heb ik maanden voor geleerd, bijlessen voor gevolgd en de druk was enorm hoog. De spanning dus ook, maar het is me volgens mij goed afgegaan vandaag. Nu dus weer spanning om de uitslag.

Suzi Says Feng Shui, I love the name because it is very relax and then pretty blue. The most blue nailpolishes are blasting and very outstanding, but in this one there is some kind of grey shade that makes it calm. I thought tests, stress, now I can use some Feng Shui :p If it helped.. I don't know, but I hope I made it well!

Suzi Says Feng Shui, de naam vind ik al heerlijk rustgevend en dan zo mooi blauw. De meeste blauwe nagellak zijn knallend en zeer opvallend, maar hier zit een soort grijzige gloed in wat het rustig maakt. Ik dacht tentamens, stress, dan kan ik wel wat Feng Shui gebruiken :p En of het geholpen heeft of niet, of dat het gewoon door het harde leren komt, geen idee, als ik het maar gehaald heb!

As you could read above I am very enthusiastic about this laquer. The laquer of O.P.I. is great. Let me put it this way, when you used O.P.I. you don't want anything else anymore. The name is nice invented and it match well with the color. Long lasting and it gives a calm expression, but they have to notice you!

Zoals jullie al kunnen opmaken uit het bovenstaande stukje ben ik razend enthousiast over dit lakje. De lak van O.P.I. is echt waanzinning. Laat ik het zo zeggen, niets smeert meer zo lekker als je ooit O.P.I. hebt gebruikt. De naam van de lak is weer leuk bedacht en het matcht goed met de kleur. Het houdt goed lang en het geeft een rustige uitstraling, maar het valt wel op!

For my test I made Chinese signs with 'prosperity'. You can't bring enough luck. Soon I will show you the result, because I didn't took a picture of it yet.

Voor mijn tentamen had ik hier nog Chinese tekentjes met 'voorspoed' op gestempeld. Je kan nooit genoeg geluk meebrengen hé. Binnenkort zal ik deze laten zien, want ik heb er nog geen foto van gemaakt.

Disadvantages? There aren't many colors that fit for stamping on this one, but without stamping I still love this laquer. So it is a semi-disadvantage.

Nadelen? Er kunnen niet zoveel kleuren opgestempeld worden, maar gewoon zo zonder stempels vind ik het ook al een prachtige nagellak. Dus is het een beetje semi-nadeel.

I'm very tired, so I will make tea and a XL bucket with popcorn and I will be on the couche this evening. Tomorrow evening swatching-time :)

Mijn ogen vallen bijna dicht zo moe ben ik. Ik ga lekker met een pot thee en een XL emmer popcorn op de bank liggen vanavond. Morgenavond weer swatchen :)
