1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY - China Glaze - LOL

Lieve lezers,

Today is a big day! It is one big anniversary! Because today my lovely cat Toulouse is 1 year and my blog exists also 1 year! I really love to blog about my hobby and my passion. I hope you all like to read it and I will go on next year! Let it be another year full of nailpolish and beautiful nails!

Vandaag is een grote dag! Het is een grote verjaardag! Want vandaag is mijn lieve katje Toulouse 1 jaar en mijn blog bestaat ook 1 jaar! Ik ben gek op het bloggen over mijn hobby en mijn passie. Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden om te lezen en komend jaar ga ik er gewoon mee door! Laat het maar weer een leuk jaar worden vol nagellak en mooie nagels!

I just love the OMG collection of China Glaze. The holo's are very subtle and when there is no light the color are very light, so you can wear it also to work! But ofcourse with the sunlight on your nails it is the best! LOL is the purple one and I love it! :D Unfortunately they are discontinued, so you are very lucky if you can get your hands on this one. Lucky me, I bought the whole collection, just before they stopped!

Ik ben gek op de OMG collectie van China Glaze. De holo's zijn heel subtiel en als er geen licht is dan wordt de kleur heel licht, dus je kan het ook gewoon dragen op je werk! Maar natuurlijk met het zonlicht op je nagels is het het beste! LOL is de paarse en ik ben er helemaal weg van! :D Jammer genoeg worden ze niet meer geproduceerd, dus als je deze nog kan krijgen mag je jezelf gelukkig prijzen. Gelukkig voor mij, ik had net de hele collectie gekocht, vlak voordat de collectie gestopt werd!

China Glaze - QT (Cutie)

Today I am wearing QT of China Glaze. I didn't stamp on it, because I need a simple manicure. This evening we have a little nailpolish party with girls in my class. It is as a start of the new year and because I can teach again after three months. I hope they will like the results and have a good time.

Vandaag draag ik QT van China Glaze. Ik heb er niet op gestempeld, want ik heb een simpele manicure nodig. Vanavond hebben we namelijk een nagellak feestje met de meiden van gym. Het is de start van het nieuwe jaar en ik kan sinds drie maanden echt weer alles lesgeven. Ik hoop dat ze de resultaten mooi vinden en dat ze het leuk vinden.

The strong points of this nailpolish is the drying time, it's opaque in one coat. But I always use two coats just to be sure. And it is very easy to remove. I did not even talked about the color and this great holographic effect. But it is sometimes difficult to see this effect, if there is no sunlight. That is too bad. Another point that I really dislike is the time till it will chip. I sport alot and after one training half of my nails is chipped. Really sucks. But overall it is a very good product, but just for one day. Or you have to 'repair' it, but then it will be not as beautiful as it is in the first place.

De sterke punten van deze nagellak is droogtijd, het dekt echt in een coat. Maar ik gebruik er altijd al twee uit gewoonte. En het is super simpel om te verwijderen. Dan heb ik nog niet eens gesproken over de kleur en het geweldige holografische effect. Maar soms is het lastig dit effect te zien, als er bijvoorbeeld geen zonlicht is. Dat is wel balen. Een ander punt waar ik niet tevreden over ben is dat het razend snel chipt. Ik sport veel en na een training is de helft van mijn nagels gechipt. Really Sucks. Maar overall is het een goed product, maar gewoon voor een dag. Of je moet het 'repareren', maar dan wordt het nooit meer zo mooi als dat het eerst was.

What is better then to start the new year then with a post about one of my favorite nailpolishes, one that is so damn pretty that everybody has to admit that this is a great start of the new year! It's called DS Extravagance. This is I think one of the nailpolishes that I put on and I really had to stare at it.. this is so beautiful. The structure is so great, that means that the application is perfectly fine. Then this deep magenta holographic effect... WOW... that is all I have to say.. It is just WOW!

Wat is een betere start van het jaar dan te beginnen met een post over een van mijn favoriete nagellakken, een dat is zo verschrikkelijk prachtig dat iedereen moet toegeven dat het een goede start van het nieuwe jaar is! Het heet DS Extravagance. Het is een van de nagellakjes die ik op deed en dat ik echt er naar moest blijven staren.. het is zo prachtig. De sturctuur is zo goed en dat betekent dus ook dat de aplicatie tegen perfect aan is. Dan is het een diep magenta kleur met een holografisch effect... WOW... dat is het enige wat ik er over te zeggen heb.. Het is gewoon WOW!

It is a holographic nailpolish from the OMG collection. This one I really adore. Because the holographic effect is very good visible in this one. One coat could be enough, but to be sure I used 2 coats. It dries very quick and I love that. Also very easy to remove. Sometimes I hear people complain about chipping very fast, but with this one I never experienced that.

Het is een holografische nagellak van de OMG collectie. Ik ben echt gek op deze, want het holografische effect is duidelijk zichtbaar bij deze. Een coat is genoeg, maar voor de zekerheid heb ik een tweede coat gebruikt. Het droogt erg snel en daar hou ik wel van. Net zoals het verwijderen wat erg makkelijk is. Soms hoor ik mensen klagen over het feit dat deze lakken snel chippen, maar met deze heb ik dat nog nooit ervaren.

Sinful Colors - Starburst

Yesterday I found a bold place on Paris her paw, so this afternoon I have to go with her to the doctor. I am a bit nerveous because she is normally very active and now she isn't... I really hope it is something innocent...

Gisteren vond ik een kaal plekje op Paris haar poot, dus deze middag ga ik met haar naar de dierenarts. Ik ben een beetje zenuwachtig, want normaal is ze heel erg actief en nu niet... Ik hoop dat het iets onschuldigs is...

This is soooo cute! Really little stars on your nails.. But I have to say that I was busy for maybe an half hour with these four fingers. Why? Because the stars are pretty heavy and so the drop of the brush. So you really need to go fishing for stars. It takes alot of time, but I like the result. Just take time to make your manicure complete. Cute holographic stars!

Dit is zoooo schattig! Kleine sterretjes op je nagels.. Maar ik moet zeggen dat ik met deze 4 vingers ongeveer een half uur ben bezig geweest. Waarom? Omdat de sterretjes best zwaar zijn en die glijden van je borsteltje af. Dus je moet echt gaan vissen naar sterretjes. Het neemt echt veel tijd in beslag, maar ik vind het resultaat echt heel leuk. Neem gewoon veel tijd om een manicure met deze sterretjes te maken. Schattige holografisch sterretjes!

China Glaze - TTYL

Last night while I was teaching I fell in a very weird way and I became nauseous and dizzy and I thought I was going to pass out. But the worst thing my ankle said 'snap'. I couldn't move my leg and my foot. After a visit to the hospital I found out that for sure my anklets are twisted but there is a chance that my anklets are torn. It really hurt like hell and I couldn't ride my bicycle or drive a car. It's horrible. I hope it isn't as bad as it looks right now.

To cheer me up a bit I used today this beautiful holographic nailpolish of China Glaze.

This is a beauty, really. The color is hard to determine, is it red or is it brown? I think that it is more brown, because next to my red holographic nailpolishes this one doesn't look red at all. As you can see only one coat. That is really great. But if it is because there are not enough layers or that it is just the nailpolish itself, it chips pretty fast. I don't really care because I like to switch my mani's after 1 or 2 days. But if you'd like to were this a whole week, I think that there might be a problem. Are there girls who had the same experiences?

I am going to take a nap because my foot is really tiring my out! I love you all girls!

Nubar - Hologram Glitter

I live near a pond and it's raining very fast that the transportsystem can't take it anymore and the water is rising and the rain just won't stop. Hmm.. I hope it will be oke...

Ik woon bij een vijver en het regent hier nu zo hard dat het afvoersysteem het niet meer aan kan en het water stijgt behoorlijk snel en het stopt ook maar gewoon niet. Hmm.. hoop dat het goed gaat...

I'll visit Lelystad for an interview for research and if I come home hopefully my order from Nailpolish Fashion arrived. Then I have all the special stamping nailpolishes that I want.

Ik ga straks eerst eventjes naar Lelystad om een interview af te nemen voor een onderzoek en als het goed is als ik thuis kom is mijn pakketje van Nailpolish Fashion er dan. Dan heb ik alle stempelnagellakken die ik graag wil hebben.

Do you love glitter? Well I do, execpt the removing part, but I love everything that shines ;) That's why I wanted to show you this one. The Holographic glitter laquer of Nubar:

Houden jullie ook zo van glitter? Nou ik wel, behalve het verwijderen dan, maar ik ben gek op alles wat glinstert ;) Daarom wilde ik jullie deze heel graag laten zien. De holografische glitterlak van Nubar:

How do you call a holographic glitter laquer? Eumh.. Hologram Glitter :p it is not really original, but you know what you put on to your nails. Is it really holographic.. I doubt that, but it is a crazy pretty glitter that you can put on any nailpolish. I prefer creams, but I think you can use this one over any nailpolish. What I thing is a main point of a glitter laquer is that the glitters all spread even, and that is absolutely the case with this nailpolish. On this point I would reward with a 10. Removing is oke, especially when you compare it to other glitter nailpolishes.

Hoe noem je een holografische glitter lak? Nou eumh.. Hologram Glitter :p aan de originaliteit ontbreekt het hier iets, maar je weet wel duidelijk wat je op je nagels smeert. Of ie echt holografisch is betwijfel ik alleen heel erg, maar het is een waanzinnig mooie glitter die echt over alle soorten lak kan. Ik prefereer zelf vooral cremes maar volgens mij is dit over alle lakken wel te gebruiken. Wat ik een heel belangrijk punt is van een glitter lak is dat de glitters mooi egaal verspreiden, en dat is hier absoluut het geval. Op dat punt zou ik hem ook echt beoordelen met een 10. Verwijderen is best oke, in ieder geval als je het vergelijkt met andere glitter lakken.

Overall, it is not really holographic, but on all the other points this one scores high.

M72 Purple Holographic Scratches

Hallo lieve lezers

Yesterday on the birthdayparty of my uncle I did the nails of my cousin and her friends. one asked if I wanted to do the same on her birthdayparty. Too cute ofcourse, but maybe it is something to think serious about. I mean what is more fun for girls-girls then a makeup party with all your friends? :)

Gisteren op de verjaardag van mijn oom de nageltjes gedaan van mijn nichtje en vriendinnetjes. En eentje vroeg of ik dit wilde komen doen op haar partijtje. Te schattig natuurlijk, maar misschien wel iets om serieus over na te denken. Ik bedoel wat is er leuker voor meisjes-meisjes dan een optut partijtje met al je vriendinnetjes? :)

Today I made a nice Konad creation, I think it worked pretty well:

You need: M72, China Glaze IDK and Konad Stamping Nailpolish Violet Pearl. Ofcourse I sugget a basecoat and a topcoat.
What I like about the stripes/scratches is that it look like it is just freely painted on the nail and not stamped. You create a much more fun look and when you use a image. An idea is to, to make it even more fun, stamp this image in different angles, then you find out that not every line/scratch is in the same way on every nail. I didn't tried that out, but it's nice to try in the future.

Hiervoor heb je nodig: M72, China Glaze IDK en Konad Stamping Nailpolish Violet Pearl. Aan te raden is natuulijk altijd een basecoat en een topcoat.

Wat ik leuk vind aan het patroontje met de streepjes/krasjes is dat het lijkt alsof het er met de vrije hand op gekliederd is en niet gestempeld. Hierdoor krijg je een speelser effect dan wanneer je een afbeelding gebruikt bijvoorbeeld. Een idee hierbij is, om het nog speelser te laten lijken, om de afbeelding in verschillende hoeken op je nagel te stempelen, hierdoor zit niet elk krasje op de zelfde manier op elke nagel. Dat heb ik hier niet geprobeerd, maar dat is wel leuk om in te toekomst te proberen.

China Glaze - BFF (Best Friend Forever)

Hoi iedereen,

I have finally vaction, but i'm still very bussy. I do interviews for research and I have to travel all across the country. Very nice job, plus the experience for later. It just takes alot of my time.

Heb ik eindelijk vakantie, zal je altijd zien, ben ik nog steeds erg druk. Ik neem interviews af voor een onderzoek en daar moet ik het hele land voor door. Erg leuk baantje plus ervaring op doen voor later. Alleen kost gewoon veel tijd.

My OMG collection is here. And the next laquer is just hot and if you look at the picture and you know me a little bit, you know why.

It's nice pink, totally made for me. It is holographic, love it. And it is very easy to apply and it won't chip with topcoat, triple wow.
I don't think there is something that needs to change.

Het is lekker roze, helemaal mijn ding. Het is holografisch, ook helemaal mijn ding. Het is makkelijk aan te brengen en het houdt lang met topcoat er overheen, ook helemaal mijn ding.
Tja ik vind dat er niets veranderd hoeft te worden aan dit lakje.

I heard that some people thought that these laquer are a bit boring, but I like it that it is, without the light, a calm laquer. But everybody has to define that for herself.

Ik hoorde dat sommige mensen deze lakjes beetje saaiig vinden, maar ik vind het juist wel mooi dat het zonder licht een neutraal lakje is. Maar dat moet iedereen voor zichzelf bepalen uiteraard.

China Glaze - IDK (I Don't Know)

In the afternoon I have got to give a difficult presentation, always nice when someone of the group is not doing her job. But I painted my nails with one of the most beautiful nailpolishes on earth. Maybe this day isn't totally ruined by this presention :)

Goeiemorgen iedereen,
Vanmiddag moet ik een moeilijke presentatie geven, altijd fijn als iemand uit de groep zijn werk niet doet. Maar ik heb mijn nagels gelakt met het een van de mooiste nagellak die er bestaat. Misschien is deze dag niet helemaal verpest door deze presentatie :)

I love the name, how do they invent those names! The color is amazing. If you take a look at the picture you can see that it is a holographic laquer, but with less light it will become a peaceful grey/lilac color. BUT when the light comes, everyone has to take a look at your nails, because they can't miss it ;)

Ik hou alleen al van die naam, hoe bedenken ze het he! De kleur is fantastisch. Als je naar de foto kijkt zie je dat het een holografisch lakje is, maar als het licht weg is wordt het een heel rustig neutraal grijs/lila kleurtje. MAAR als het licht er op schijnt, iedereen moet dan gewoon naar je nagels kijken, want ze kunnen het niet missen ;)

Benefits of this laquer are that it is nice and easy to apply and it dries pretty fast. On top of that it is a very calm nailpolish that you can wear anywhere, but with a little extra. The brush of China Glaze is nice tall, but I think that there are many opinions about this, but I see it as a benefit. The laquer last long, but if you want to remove it, it's very easy to do.

Voordelen van dit lakje zijn dat het een mooie kleur heeft het makkelijk aan te brengen is en het best snel droogt. Hier komt bij dat het een rustige kleur is die je overal kan dragen, maar wel met dat kleine beetje extra. Het borsteltje van China Glaze is mooi lang, maar ik denk dat de meningen hierover wisselend zullen zijn, maar ik zie het als een voordeel. De lak blijft lang mooi, maar als je het wilt verwijderen gaat dat erg makkelijk.

Disadvantages.. At this moment I have no comments.

Nadelen.. Op dit moment kan ik niets bedenken.

Nu zal ik het rapport nog eens doorlezen en hopelijk worden er geen moeilijke vragen gesteld :)
