China Glaze - Breakin

Hi girls Hoi meiden I keep it short today, because I am still feeling very bad after what happened yesterday. The story in short: I am ill for more then 9 weeks at this moment, I can't really eat something so I have a very low energy level. Yesterday my girls had a tournament and I had to be there as their coach ofcourse. But after a few hours I start to feel very bad and dizzy and I past out. So the rest of the afternoon I spend in the hospital. Ik hou het kort vandaag, omdat ik me nog steeds erg slecht voel na wat er gisteren is gebeurd. Het verhaal in het kort: Ik ben nu meer dan 9 weken ziek op dit moment, ik kan niet echt iets eten en daarom heb ik erg weinig energie. Gisteren hadden mijn meiden een wedstrijd en ik moest daar zijn als hun trainster natuurlijk. Maar na een paar uur voelde ik me heel slecht en dizzy en toen viel ik flauw. De rest van de middag heb ik bij de EHBO doorgebracht. I try to keep doing everything the best I can, but now I am at a point that I realize that my body isn't saying the same thing. Really broke yesterday. Ik probeer alles nog zo goed mogelijk te doen, maar ik ben nu op een punt dat ik me realiseer dat mijn lichaam daar niet zo over denkt. Voelde me echt gebroken gisteren. But to keep a positive tone I would like to show you China Glaze - Breakin. If breakin down always looks so bright and happy, there wouldn't be a problem. This is a very lovely bright orange shimmer. Very easy to applicate and you get instantly happy! This color is just connected to the spring and the summer. Als breakin down er altijd zo zonnige en vrolijk uit zag, dan zou er geen probleemzijn. Dit is zo'n lieve oranje shimmer. Het is heel simpel om aan te brengen en je wordt er direct blij van! Dit is een kleur die gekoppeld is met de lente en de zomer. If I feel better in the end of april, it will be possible to get a manicure for a very low price on Queensday! I will use this color, because it is so right for Queensday and all other national days! Als ik me beter voel eind april, dan zal het mogelijk zijn om een manicure te krijgen voor een erg lage prijs op koninginnedag! OPI - Jade Is The New Black

Wednesday I can finally go to the doctor in the hospital. It is now 8 weeks since I become ill and I lost 15% of my weight at this point and I still don't feel better. It is awfull, because I want to do so many things, but I can't because I don't have enough energy for it. Normally I paint my nails every day of once in the two days, but now I was wearing For Audrey for a week already. This morning I decided that it was time for a new manicure. I used Jade Is The New Black of O.P.I.

Woensdag kan ik eindelijk naar de specialist in het ziekenhuis. Het is nu 8 weken sinds ik ziek werd en ik ben ondertussen zo'n 15% van mijn gewicht kwijt en ik voel me nog steeds niet beter. Het is echt zo naar, want ik wil zoveel doen, maar dat kan ik niet want ik heb er gewoon niet genoeg energie voor. Normaal lak ik mijn nagels elke dag of om de dag, maar nu droeg ik For Audrey een week. Deze ochtend besloot ik dat het tijd was voor een nieuwe manicure. Ik heb Jade Is The New Black van O.P.I. gebruikt.

I love this color. The first time I bought O.P.I. nailpolishes this one was included. It is a very nice cream green. In two coats it is absolutely opaque and the drying time is very short. Ofcourse it is a pretty heavy color, so not really appropriate for work.

Ik hou van deze kleur. De eerste keer dat ik O.P.I. nagellakken kocht zat deze erbij. Het is een hele mooie creme groen. In twee coats is het absoluut dekkend en de droogtijd is erg kort. Natuurlijk is het wel een heftige kleur, dus niet geschikt voor op het werk.

I just had my first customer! I am so enthousiastic about my shop, but at this moment I only have a few Orly nailpolishes for sale, but I hope that in the beginning of next week I receive my products of Konad, China Glaze and Zoya.

Ik heb net mijn eerste klant gehad! Ik ben zo enthousiast over mijn winkeltje, maar op dit moment heb ik alleen een aantal Orly nagellakken in de verkoop, ik hoop dat begin volgende week ik de producten van Konad, China Glaze en Zoya ontvang.

Back to Orly, I have different nailpolishes from the Sweet Collection for sale, but I have only two of them. One is of them is Snowcone, this is my own bottle:

This is I think my favorite pastel blue nailpolish. Why? Because it is a one-coater in a big big bottle! The application and drying time are easy and fast. It is also pretty long-lasting, I sport alot and still after a week without one chip.

Dit is denk ik mijn favoriete pastel blauwe nagellak. Waarom? Omdat het een one-coater in een groot groot flesje is! De applicatie en de droogtijd zijn makkelijk en snel. Het blijft ook best lang mooi, ik sport veel en na een week nog geen een keer gechipt.

Sinful Colors - Night Of Barbados

Today I will finish my website, but you can't buy anything yet. That will start, I think, on wednesday. But you can take a look!

Vandaag zal ik mijn website afmaken, maar je kan nog niets kopen. Dat begint, denk ik, op woensdag. Maar dan kan je vast een kijkje nemen!

Today I like to show you Night Of Barbados of Sinful Colors:

Vandaag wil ik jullie Night Of Barbados van Sinful Colors laten zien:

Night Of Barbados is not an ordinary blue nailpolish. It is almost duochrome, but the changes are not that big. So I would like to call it more a shimmer then a duochrome. But it is still very pretty. The nailpolish is a little big thick which gives a little trouble with application and the drying time is not so fast. So you need a little patience, but then you have a beautiful original blue manicure.

Night Of Barbados is geen gewone blauwe nagellak. Het is bijna duochroom, maar de verandering zijn niet zo groot. Dus ik zou het liever een shimmer noemen dan een duochroom. Maar het blijft erg mooi. De nagellak is wel een beetje dik waardoor het wat problemen geeft bij het aanbrengen en de tijd die nodig is om te drogen is ook niet heel kort. Dus je hebt wat geduld nodig, maar dan heb je ook een originele blauwe manicure.

My mom celebrates today her 50th birthday. She like turquoise alot, so the choice for today's manicure wasn't that hard. China Glaze - For Audrey:

This is one of my favorite China Glaze nailpolishes. It is because of the color, the application and the time it last. The drying time is also pretty short, which makes it even better.

Dit is een van mijn favoriete China Glaze nagellakken. Het is vanwege de kleur, de applicatie en de tijd dat het mooi blijft. De droogtijd is ook behoorlijk kort, wat het natuurlijk nog beter maakt.

In 5 days I will open my webshop. The website is almost ready and the products will arrive here any moment. I am very excited! I hope I can sell For Audrey soon, but I start with the Anchors Away Collection, the price will be 5,50 euro.

Orly - Lollipop

In a week I will officially open my own webshop. Right now I am making my website and ordering all the stuff I need, plus ofcourse my first products.
One of the products I will sell by next week is Lollipop of Orly. I am so lucky that I made an agreement with the official distributeur of Orly, that means that you can buy Orly for a very nice price and with the proof that it is real.

Over een week zal ik officieel mijn webshop openen. Op dit moment ben ik bezig met het maken van mijn website en het bestellen van alle spulletjes die ik nodig heb, plus natuurlijk mijn eerste producten.
Een van de producten die ik ga verkopen volgende week is Lollipop van Orly. Ik ben echt een bofkont dat ik een afspraak heb kunnen maken met de officiele distributeur van Orly, dat betekent dat je Orly kan kopen voor een leuke prijs en met de zekerheid dat het echt is.

I adore the Sweet collection of Orly. The two main reasons are: 1. The colors are very cute. 2. They are all one-coaters. And I love one coaters alot, because sometimes I just want to change nailpolish and I don't have alot of time. No problem with these, with 10 minutes of your time you have a great manicure. Plus it doesn't chip fast.

Ik ben echt gek op de Sweet collectie van Orly. Er zijn twee hoofdredenen: 1. De kleuren zijn schattig. 2. Ze zijn allemaal one-coaters. En ik hou erg van one-coaters, want soms wil ik mijn nagellak veranderen en dan heb ik weinig tijd. Dat is geen probleem met deze, in 10 minuten heb je een fantastische manicure. Plus dat het niet snel chipt.

Essence - Get The Fever

As you all can see, I didn't blog since the end of january. The point is that I am ill now for 3,5 weeks. First I thought it was just a little flu, and I thought it was a bad flu.. but after all this time I still feel horrible. Today I get the results from the hospital. I don't really know what I am hoping for.. but if it gets a name, then they doctors can treat the problem... So I won't be here much till I am finally feeling better. But I wanted you to know how everything is going.

Zoals jullie allemaal kunnen zien heb ik niet geblogt sinds het einde van januari. Het punt is dat ik op dit moment al 3,5 week ziek ben. Eerst dacht ik dat het een beetje griep was, toen dacht ik dat het erge griep was.. maar na al die tijd voel ik me nog steeds verschrikkelijk. Vandaag krijg ik de resultaten van het ziekenhuis. Ik weet niet zo goed waat ik op hoop.. maar als het een naam krijgt dan kunnen de dokters het behandelen... Dus ik zal hier niet zo vaak zijn tot dat ik echt weer beter ben. Maar ik wilde eventjes iedereen laten weten hoe het gaat momenteel.

I bought this in the summer for the World Cup. But I never used it then, but it is oke, because this is a great orange to wear anytime. One little point.. when you wear something orange in The Netherlands everybody think that there is some national day or something. I just love orange alot and this one of Essence is just great. It a shame the bottle is so small ;)

Ik heb dit gekocht in de zomer voor het WK. Maar ik heb hem toen nooit gebruikt, maar dat is oke, want dit is een geweldige oranje voor elke dag van het jaar. Een klein puntje.. als je iets oranjes draagt in Nederland denkt iedereen dat er iets van een nationale dag is ofzo. Ik hou gewoon van oranje en deze van Essence is echt heel goed. Het is jammer dat het flesje zo klein is ;)

Sally Hansen - Purple Potion

Bad bad news... You probably noticed it already I didn't blog for a very long time. I want to write sometime almost every day. But since last weeks saturday I begin to felt very ill. Like the flu.. Really nasty.. but on thursday I thought I felt a little bit better.. but that evening everything went way worse then before. I won't tell you all the details but when I try to eat something even if it is a dry biscuit I have to throw up, several times a day. I am still feeling very bad so I won't make it long today, but I want you to know that I will write again when I am feeling better.

Slecht slecht nieuws... Jullie hebben het waarschijnlijk wel gemerkt dat ik een poos niet geblogt heb. Ik wil namelijk elke dag wel wat schrijven. Maar sinds vorige week zaterdag begon ik me erg ziek te voelen. Zoals de griep.. Echt jakkie.. maar op donderdag leek ik me weer een beetje beter te voelen.. maar die avond werd het nog erger dan daarvoor. Ik zal jullie de details besparen maar als ik iets probeer te eten, ook al is het een droog biscuitje, moet ik overgegeven, meerdere keren per dag. Ik voel me echt heel ziek dus ik maak het niet lang vandaag, maar ik wil dat jullie weten dat zodra ik me beter voel ik direct weer ga schrijven!

And because of this all Sophie didn't get her gifts, but when I feel a little bit better I will send it immediately! Sorry for the delay!

En door alles heeft Sophie haar cadeautjes nog niet gehad, maar zodra ik me een beetje beter voel dat ik het direct naar haar toesturen! Sorry voor de vertraging!

This one I get from Kellie! And I really adore it! This is one of the most beautiful purples with a blue shade! It is between a really great shimmer and a duochrome. I can't tell you so much about it because there is not a single point that I dislike about this one! It is great, and I would love to wear it again! Thanks Kellie!

Deze heb ik gehad van Kellie! En ik ben er gek op! Dit is een van de meest mooie paarse nagellakjes met een blauwe gloed er in! Het zit tussen een geweldige shimmer en een duochrome. Ik kan weinig hier nog over vertellen aangezien er geen enkel punt is waar ik ontevreden over ben! Het is echt heel mooi en ik zou het zo weer dragen! Dank je wel Kellie!

Essence - Lime Up

I think I am really ill right now.. but I still had to do so much so I did not gave myself a little time to rest, but now everything is over and I feel I just want to sleep. So maybe it is not a bad idea to go to bed early this evening. Here is Holland alot of people als sick at this moment, did you have the flu this year?

Ik denk dat ik nu echt ziek aan het worden ben.. maar ik moest nog zoveel doen dus ik gaf mezelf niet echt tijd om uit te rusten, en nu is alles voorbij en ik voel dat ik gewoon alleen nog maar wil slapen. Dus misschien is het geen slecht idee om vroeg naar bed te gaan vanavond. Hier in Nederland veel mensen zijn ziek op dit moment, heb je al de griep gehad dit jaar?

To cheer meself up I choose this great great nailpolish of Essence. I mean come on this is just hot!

Om mezelf op te vrolijken heb ik gekozen voor dit geweldige geweldige lakje van Essence. Ik bedoel kom op dit is gewoon hot!

I really think that Essence make very nice products at this moment! And this is a great example. The application is just so easy and it dries pretty quicky, but not too fast in my opinion. The color is like O.P.I. - Who The Shrek Are You, only cheaper. Sounds great right? I think it is a very original color and people will notice it fast ;) That is a promise. But if you are scared of bright and outstanding colors... then this is maybe not the right nailpolish for you. But for me it absolutely is!

Ik vind echt dat Essence hele goede producten maakt op dit moment! En dit is een goed voorbeeld. De applicatie is gewoon zo makkelijk en het droogt best snel, maar niet te snel naar mijn mening. De kleur is zoals O.P.I. - Who The Shrek Are You, maar dan goedkoper. Dat klinkt goed toch? Ik vind het een hele originele kleur en mensen zullen het snel opmerken ;) Dat is een belofte. Maar als je niet zo houdt van felle en opvallende kleuren... dan is dit misschien niet het juiste lakje voor je. Maar voor mij is het absoluut goed!

China Glaze - Liquid Leather

Today was the first day since the new year that I could sleep a long long time. Feel completely refreshed. Yesterday my girls were having a competition and they were so great! Of the 24 medailles we took 7. There are 7 clubs so statistical every club will win 3,5 medailles, just to give you a better view on this competition, they were absolutely wonderfull! So proud!

Vandaag was de eerste dag sinds het nieuwe jaar dat ik lekker lang kon uitslapen. Voel me compleet refreshed. Gisteren hadden mijn meiden een wedstrijd en ze hebben het zo goed gedaan! Van de 24 medailles wonnen wij er 7. Er zijn 7 verenigingen, en dus statistisch gezien wint elke vereniging 3,5 medaille, dus om je een beter zicht te geven op hoe de competitie vergaan is, ze hebben het waanzinnig goed gedaan! Zo trots!

I thought it is nice to have a good quality simple black nailpolish. That is just exactly what Liquid Leather is, but.. I didn't knew that I would love it so much. People who wear dark nailpolish are practically always judged. I think that is absolutely unfair. Personally I think that black and other dark colors can be very chic instead of rebels. So now why am I sad.. the bottle is to small! :D

Ik dacht het is handig om een goede kwaliteit simpele zwarte nagellak te hebben. Dat is precies wat Liquid Leather is, maar.. Ik wist niet dat ik er zo van zou gaan houden. Mensen die donkere nagellak dragen worden vaak veroordeeld. Ik vind het absoluut oneerlijk. Persoonlijk vind ik dat zwarte nagellak en andere donkere kleuren heel erg chic kunnen zijn in plaats van rebels. Dus nu wat ik jammer vind.. Het flesje is te klein! :D

7 things about me:
1. I spend next to college and nailpolish 10 hours a week in the gym to teach Rhytmic Gymnastics, but next to that I work between the 10-15 hours a week for the sport without being payed.
2. I love to learn and to study, which seems pretty boring sometimes to others, but to me it is pretty important. I always wanted to be an independent women, and now I can be. I even want to start a second study after I finished this one.
3. I don't watch alot tv, just because I don't really have time for it and because I don't like to do 'nothing'.
4. I love good books! Last summer I decided that it was just stupid that I never read anything about Harry Potter. It was great, even through some people thought is was just stupid, but I don't think so. At this moment I am totally into the world of vampires: Twilight. Love the book! But I also like to read 'real' literature, but that is always hard to discribe what is literature and what not.
5. I have been to Cambodia for a month 2 years ago and now I would like to travel more and more. I want to see all the nice places in the world.
6. I want to be a scientist, I want start a family, I want to keep my pets, I want to have a nice house. And if it is possible all at the same time :)
7. I am not a quiter. Sometimes things happen in your life and then you realize that not everything is going to be as you would like it to be. I can get really angry about such kind of things, but after a while it seems always better to make the best of it. Quiters never win, right?

7 dingen over mij:
1. Ik besteed naast de studie en de nagellak zo'n 10 uur in de sporthal om Ritmische Gymnastiek te geven, maar daarnaast werk ik ook nog tussen de 10 en 15 uur per week voor de sport zonder betaling.
2. Ik hou van leren en studeren, andere vinden dit soms nogal eens saai, maar voor mij is het erg belangrijk. Ik heb altijd al een onafhankelijke vrouw willen zijn, en nu kan ik dat ook echt zijn. Ik wil zelfs nog een tweede studie beginnen nadat ik deze heb afgerond.
3. Ik kijk heel weinig tv. Dit omdat ik er gewoon heel weinig tijd voor heb, maar ook omdat ik er niet van hou om 'niets' te doen.
4. Ik hou van goede boeken! Afgelopen zomer besloot ik dat het onacceptabel was dat ik nog nooit iets van Harry Potter had gelezen. Het was echt geweldig, ondanks dat sommige mensen hier een hele andere mening over hebben, ik vond het in ieder geval leuk. Op dit moment zit ik helemaal in de wereld van vampieren: Twilight. Gek op dat boek! Ook lees ik 'echte' literatuur, maar de scheidingslijn tussen echt en niet is meestal niet heel erg duidelijk.

7. Ik ben geen stopper. Soms gebeuren er dingen in je leven en dan kom je er achter dat niet alles gaat zoals jij dat graag zou willen. Ik kan daar echt ontzettend boos om worden, maar na een poosje bezinken is het altijd wel duidelijk dat je er maar beter het beste er van kunt maken. Quiters never win, toch?

O.P.I. - The Color To Watch

The last few days I didn't have anytime to breath. My days are like this: wake up, eat, work, go to university, eat, work, sleep. That's it.. But I found the perfect book to calm me down. I am reading Twilight right now.. damn that Edward must be cute ;)

De afgelopen dagen heb ik amper tijd om te ademen. Mijn dagen zijn ongeveer zo: wakker worden, eten, werken, naar de universiteit, eten, werken, slapen. That's it.. Maar ik heb het perfecte boek gevonden om me tot rust te late nkomen. Ik lees momenteel Twilight.. damn Edward moet wel heel erg leuk zijn ;)

Because I am reading this now I want to show you a mysterious nailpolish. It is from the Swiss collection of O.P.I. and it is called The Color To Watch.

Omdat ik dit boek nu lees wil ik jullie een mysterieus lakje laten zien. Het is van de Swiss collectie van O.P.I. en het heet The Color To Watch.

I know alot of people thought that this was the one that didn't really fit in the collection. But I really really like it. Yes, it is a sheer nailpolish, but with three layers that problem is solved. It is not really duochrome, it is just a great great shimmer. The color is also hard to discribe, silver-purple-blue... I totally adore it!

Ik weet dat veel mensen vonden dat deze niet echt in de collectie thuis hoorde en het dus ook het minst mooie lakje vonden. Maar ik vind het zelf erg erg leuk. Ja, het is een sheer nagellak, maar met drie laagjes is dat probleem opgelost. Het is niet echt een duochrome, het is meer een hele goede shimmer. De kleur is ook moeilijk om te beschrijven, zilver-paars-blauw... Ik hou er echt van!

I have to go back to work again and this afternoon to Amsterdam for the study and tonight working again. Sometimes I wonder if I ever slow down... Hmm.. guess not ;)

Artdeco - 81

Sometimes you can be so busy that there is no time left for nice and fun things. But I found a little bit of free time so I will write a review for you. It's about Artdeco - 81.

Soms kan je zo druk zijn dat er gewoon geen tijd meer over is voor leuke dingen. Maar ik heb een klein beetje vrije tijd gevonden, dus zal ik een review voor jullie schrijven. Het gaat over Artdeco - 81.

It is a very sheer nailpolish, it can be used for French Manicure in my opinion, but it is not especially made for it. After three coats it is still not opaque or something near that. The only way I really like this one is with stamping nailart. I prefer to do only the tip, because the rest of the nail is nice and shiny because of this nailpolish. But I will be honest with you, I should not buy this one again. So take my advice and don't buy it, because you have to take alot of effort to make this nailpolish pretty.

Het is een hele sheer nagellak, het kan gebruik worden voor French Manicure naar mijn mening, maar het is er niet speciaal voor gemaakt. Na die coats is het nog steeds niet dekkend of ook maar in de buurt daarvan. De enige manier waarop ik deze nagellak mooi vind is met stamping nailart. Ik heb dan wel de voorkeur voor alleen de tip, want de rest van de nagel is mooi met een lichte glinstering van deze nagellak. Maar ik zal eerlijk tegen jullie zijn, ik zou het zeker niet nog eens kopen. Dus neem mij advies aan koop het niet, want het kost je veel moeite om van deze nagellak iets moois te maken.

China Glaze - QT (Cutie)

Today I am wearing QT of China Glaze. I didn't stamp on it, because I need a simple manicure. This evening we have a little nailpolish party with girls in my class. It is as a start of the new year and because I can teach again after three months. I hope they will like the results and have a good time.

Vandaag draag ik QT van China Glaze. Ik heb er niet op gestempeld, want ik heb een simpele manicure nodig. Vanavond hebben we namelijk een nagellak feestje met de meiden van gym. Het is de start van het nieuwe jaar en ik kan sinds drie maanden echt weer alles lesgeven. Ik hoop dat ze de resultaten mooi vinden en dat ze het leuk vinden.

Big/grote video small/kleine video

The strong points of this nailpolish is the drying time, it's opaque in one coat. But I always use two coats just to be sure. And it is very easy to remove. I did not even talked about the color and this great holographic effect. But it is sometimes difficult to see this effect, if there is no sunlight. That is too bad. Another point that I really dislike is the time till it will chip. I sport alot and after one training half of my nails is chipped. Really sucks. But overall it is a very good product, but just for one day. Or you have to 'repair' it, but then it will be not as beautiful as it is in the first place.

De sterke punten van deze nagellak is droogtijd, het dekt echt in een coat. Maar ik gebruik er altijd al twee uit gewoonte. En het is super simpel om te verwijderen. Dan heb ik nog niet eens gesproken over de kleur en het geweldige holografische effect. Maar soms is het lastig dit effect te zien, als er bijvoorbeeld geen zonlicht is. Dat is wel balen. Een ander punt waar ik niet tevreden over ben is dat het razend snel chipt. Ik sport veel en na een training is de helft van mijn nagels gechipt. Really Sucks. Maar overall is het een goed product, maar gewoon voor een dag. Of je moet het 'repareren', maar dan wordt het nooit meer zo mooi als dat het eerst was.

Diamond Cosmetics - Hi Ho Silver

Big new, big new! Yesterday I thought.. oke.. I just try it.. me making a youtube video, turned out that it was pretty funny, plus I think that it really gives a more complete vision of the nailpolish. I make two videos at a time. The first will be me showing and telling about the nailpolish and the second one will be showing the bottle and my nails. So from now on I will make youtube videos of all my nailpolish. But I own alot, so it will take awhile before everything is filmed. From now on, if there is a video, there will be a possibility to click on the link beneath the photo. I hope you enjoy it!

Groot nieuws, groot nieuws! Gisteren dacht ik.. oke.. ik probeer het gewoon eens een keer.. ik die een youtube video maakt, bleek eigenlijk wel grappig te zijn, dus dat ik vind dat het nu een completere visie geeft op de nagellak. Ik maak twee video's per keer. De eerst zal ik de nagellak laten zien en hierover vertellen en de tweede is het showen van de nagellak in het flesje en op de nagels. Dus vanaf vandaag wil ik youtube video's maken van al mijn nagellak. Maar ik heb er erg veel, dus het zal wel een poosje duren voordat alles gefilmd is. Vanaf nu, als er een video beschikbaar is, zal er een mogelijkheid komen om te klikken op de link onder foto. Ik hoop dat jullie het leuk vinden!

Large/grote video small/kleine video

This is a very interesting nailpolish. The colors are grey and silver, but with a purple glow in it. I doubt if it is really a duochrome, because the effect is not always visible. With bad or no light the nailpolish will become simple grey. Not very special, but still beautiful. Diamond Cosmetics is pretty cheap in The Netherlands, but the quality is great!

Het is een hele interessante nagellak. De kleuren zijn grijs en silver, maar met een paarse gloed er in verwerkt. Ik twijfel of het een echt duochroom is, want het effect is lang niet altijd zichtbaar. Met slecht of geen licht wordt de nagellak heel simpel grijs. Niet heel speciaal, maar nog wel mooi. Diamond Cosmetics is best goedkoop in Nederland, maar de kwaliteit is erg goed!

China Glaze - Second Hand Silk

At this moment I am listing to something about communication. The teacher is pretty funny, what makes it more interesting. I am totally ready to start again. But I have to admit that I like it that I can sleep till 9 o'clock ;)

Op dit moment ben ik aan het luisteren naar een college over communicatie. De docent is best grappig, wat de stof wat minder droog maakt. Ik ben helemaal klaar om weer aan het werk te gaan. Maar ik moet toegeven dat ik het wel prettig vind dat ik kan uitslapen tot 9 uur ;)

A nice nailpolish that is great to wear to work or school. It is pink, but not 'too'.. Let take a look.

Een leuke nagellak die prima is om te dragen naar je werk of naar school. Het is roze, maar niet 'te'.. Laten we eens kijken.

This was one of my first China Glaze nailpolishes. I thought that this would be most gorgeous pink that there would exist. I must say that there are now way more impresive pinks, but it has got still a place in my heart. That's why I want to show you it. Application is great and it is very easy to remove. The drying time is average, but not very slow. It is a cute pink color and I would buy it again with about any doubt.

Dit was een van mijn eerste China Glaze nagellakjes. Ik dacht dat dit de aller mooiste roze lak zou zijn die er bestaat. Ik moet zeggen dat ik nu vind dat er mooiere en indrukwekkendere roze lakken zijn, maar het heeft wel een speciaal plaatsje. Daarom wil ik jullie heb toch graag laten zien. De applicatie is prima en het is erg makkelijk om te verwijderen. De droogtijd is gemiddeld, maar niet erg langzaam. Het is een schattige roze kleur en ik zou het zo opnieuw kopen zonder twijfel.

Essence - Hypnotic Posion

Today is my last free day, tomorrow I have to go back to college, but that is totally fine with me, because I want to get started again.

Vandaag is mijn laatste vrije dag, morgen moet ik weer aan de studie, maar dat is prima, want ik wil graag weer beginnen.

Today I want to show you a nailpolish I bought a half year ago. It is Hypnotic Posion of Essence. It is the only shimmer I have from Essence I think. Let's take a look.

Vandaag wil ik jullie een nagellak laten zien die ik ongeveer een half jaar geleden gekocht heb. Het is Hypnotic Posion van Essence. Het is geloof ik de enige shimmer die ik heb van Essence. Laten we eens kijken.

It is a spectaculair color. This is not from the new collections and the quality of Essence nailpolish wasn't at their best at that time, but this was one of the expections. Beautiful red and plum color. I love to wear this one on my toes.

What is better then to start the new year then with a post about one of my favorite nailpolishes, one that is so damn pretty that everybody has to admit that this is a great start of the new year! It's called DS Extravagance. This is I think one of the nailpolishes that I put on and I really had to stare at it.. this is so beautiful. The structure is so great, that means that the application is perfectly fine. Then this deep magenta holographic effect... WOW... that is all I have to say.. It is just WOW!

Wat is een betere start van het jaar dan te beginnen met een post over een van mijn favoriete nagellakken, een dat is zo verschrikkelijk prachtig dat iedereen moet toegeven dat het een goede start van het nieuwe jaar is! Het heet DS Extravagance. Het is een van de nagellakjes die ik op deed en dat ik echt er naar moest blijven staren.. het is zo prachtig. De sturctuur is zo goed en dat betekent dus ook dat de aplicatie tegen perfect aan is. Dan is het een diep magenta kleur met een holografisch effect... WOW... dat is het enige wat ik er over te zeggen heb.. Het is gewoon WOW!

Today I want to show you another China Glaze nailpolish. It's called The Ten Men from the Wizard Of Ooh Ahz Returns collection. I like this whole collection alot. But this one wasn't on my wishlist, but when I saw the bottle I knew it should be like Good Witch only the white version. That is correct. Love it. It is opaque, but because of the flash it seems not. Great nailpolish!

Vandaag wil ik jullie een ander lakje van China Glaze laten zien. Het heet The Ten Men van de Wizard Of Ooh Ahz Returns collectie. Ik vind deze hele collectie leuk. Maar deze was in de eerste instantie niet opgenomen in de verlanglijst, maar toen ik het flesje zag wist ik dat het zoals Good Witch zou zijn alleen dan in het wit. En dat klopt. Ik hou er echt van. Het dekt, maar door de flits lijkt het van niet. Geweldige nagellak!

The last training of this year was this evening, always weird to say: 'see you next year' :) It has been a good good year, but ofcourse there are always people who think they need to criticize a little too much. They never think of how many hours we are busy for the girls. I mean I work and get paid for 10 hours a week, but we work everyday on it, most of our free time we use for the gymnastics. I have 7 years of experience when it come to teaching, and the sport itself 17 years. Then it really hurt when people say you're doing it the wrong way. But I really learned that it is so good to think about it for a while and then react.. But at these times you sometimes think about quiting. But it sound cliché, but quiters never win. So I will never quit for such a reason. Let that be clear ;) Nobody can stop me from doing things that I love to do.

De laatste training van de jaar was vanavond en het is altijd vreemd om te zeggen: 'tot volgende jaar' :) Het is een goed goed jaar geweest, maar natuurlijk zijn er altijd mensen die vinden dat ze meer kritiek moeten geven dan goed is. Ze denken nooit er aan hoeveel uur wij per week bezig zijn voor die meiden. Ik bedoel ik werk en krijg betaald voor 10 uur per week, maar we werken er elke dag mee, het meeste van onze vrije tijd gebruiken we voor de gymnastiek. Ik heb 7 jaar ervaring als trainster en 17 jaar met de sport zelf. Het doet dan wel pijn als mensen dan tegen je zeggen dat je het verkeerd doet.Maar ik heb echt geleerd dat het goed is om het in je op te nemen en er rustig over na te denken en het te laten bezinken voordat je in de tegenaanval gaat.. Maar op deze momenten denk je soms wel eens aan stoppen. Maar het klinkt cliché, maar quiters never win. Dus ik zal nooit stoppen voor een reden als dit. Laat dat even duidelijk zijn ;) Niemand kan me laten stoppen met de dingen in het leven waar ik van hou.

Great nailpolish of Hema. You know that Hema is not always good quality, but this is great. The silver is real silver and it is opaque in two layers. Lovely for new years!

Goede nagellak van de Hema. Je weet dat Hema niet altijd goede kwaliteit betreft, maar deze is goed. Het zilver is echt zilver en het dekt volledig in two laagjes. Hartstikke leuk voor oud en nieuw!

Icing - Grape A Licous

I hope everyones christmas was great. Now we are moving on to the new year it is time to look back at this year. Good things, bad things, strange things and things that you won't ever forget. To start with a strange thing. I got this nailpolish from Miranda because the brush wasn't right (it was thick and the hairs were not in one line) and she couldn't work with it so she ask me if I wanted it. Not that I am such a good hairdresser, but with it couldn't get worse so I tried to make it better with a scissor. It is a little mircale because it works fine now! Woohoo!

Ik hoop dat iedereen een mooie kerst heeft gehad. Nu komen we alweer aan het einde van het jaar en is het tijd om terug te kijken op afgelopen jaar. Goede dingen, slechte dingen, vreemde dingen en dingen die je nooit meer vergeet. Om te beginnen met iets vreemds. Ik heb deze nagellak van Miranda gekregen want het borsteltje was niet goed (het was erg dik en de haren stonden alle kanten uit) en ze kon er niet mee werken dus ze vroeg aan mij of ik het wilde hebben. Nu dat ik zo'n goede kapper ben, maar erger dan dit kon het toch al niet worden, dus ik heb geprobeerd het beter te maken met een schaar. Het is een klein wonder want nu werkt ie prima! Woehoe!

Like I said the brush was bad, but now it is a little bit better. This makes application not very easy, but it is possible. The reason why I took all this effort was the great magenta purple color with the multicolored glitter. Very pretty! This is my first Icing. I am not sure if I want more of these, because this is obviously a mistake and I don't have a good vision on the quality of this product.

Zoals ik al zei het borsteltje was slecht, maar nu is het wel een beetje beter. Dit maakt applicatie niet erg makkelijk, maar het is mogelijk. De reden waarom ik zoveel moeite heb gedaan was omdat het een prachtige magenta paarse kleur is met vele kleuren glitter. Heel mooi! Het is mijn eerste Icing. Ik weet nog niet of ik meer wil van deze, want het is natuurlijk een productie fout en ik heb nu nog geen goed beeld van de kwaliteit van dit product.

M12 Purple Snowman Panic

Hoi lieve lezers

How is your christmas so far? Yesterday was great. I love to be with my grandparents and with other family. And I really know that it is about being together, but they get me so many great presents that I have to tell about it! I got tickets for 4 (!!!) musicals! The first will be We Will Rock You. In january I go to La Cage Aux Folles. In february or march I go to Urinetown and in july I go to petticoat. It is just amazing! I love musicals so much so a better gift then this doesn't exist!

Hoe is jullie kerst tot zo ver? Gisteren van fantastisch. Ik hou er van om bij mijn opa en oma te zijn met de andere familie. En ik weet dat het gaat om het samen zijn, maar ze hebben me allemaal zulke gave cadeau's gegeven dat ik er over moet vertellen! Ik heb tickets gekregen voor 4 (!!!) musicals! De eerste wordt We Will Rock You. In januari ga ik naar La Cage Aux Folles. In februari of maart ga ik naar Urinetown en in juli ga ik naar Petticoat. Het is gewoon geweldig! Ik ben gek op musicals dus een beter cadeau bestaat er gewoon niet!

Very simple but cute manicure. After three layers of China Glaze - Purple Panic, I used the snowman on image plate M12. I stamped with Konad - White.

Hele simpele maar schattige manicure. Na drie laagjes van China Glaze - Purple Panic, heb ik de sneeuwman van image plate M12 gebruikt. Ik heb gestempeld met Konad - White.

M12 Ruby Science Christmas

First of all: Merry Christmas to everyone!

Ten eerste: Fijne kerst allemaal!

I am very curious how other people celebrate christmas. This is what I am going to do today. First of all everybody will dress up in their pretty clothes and then with our family we sit down our christmas tree and give presents to each other and have some nice chocolate and other christmas candy. After that we go to my grandpa and grandma and there are also presents for each other and we finish with a great diner. Presents are always nice, but for us that is not what christmas is about. It's about being together with the ones you love!

Ik ben heel benieuwd hoe andere mensen kerstmis vieren. Dit is wat ik in ieder geval ga doen vandaag. Eerst komt iedereen is z'n mooie kleren en dan gaan we gezamelijk bij de kerstboom zitten en geven cadeautjes aan elkaar en er is altijd wat lekkers bij zoals chocolade, schuimpjes en andere lekkere dingetjes. Daarna gaan we naar mijn opa en oma en ook daar geven we cadeautjes aan elkaar. De cadeautjes zijn altijd leuk, maar voor ons is dat niet waar kerst omdraait. Het gaat er om dat je samen bent met degene waar je van houdt!

Ofcourse I made a christmas manicure, hope you like it as much as I do.

Natuurlijk heb ik ook een kerst manicure gemaakt, hoop dat jullie het net zo leuk vinden als ik.

I used the christmas colors red and green, but I wanted to be with glitter so I took China Glaze - Ruby Pumps and Orly - It's Not Rocket Science. This last one is by the way one of my favorite nailpolishes. The left sides of the nail are red and the right side is green. Just two layers of each. Then I used M12 which is a must have for the holidays I think! For my pinkie I choose the candycane, the christmas tree for my ring finger, for my middle finger I picked the bells and for my index I used the cute little snowman. On my thumb, not on the photo, I have got Santa and Merry Christmas, but I never photograph my thumb. For the stamping I used Konad Pastel Green and I think it is better then white, because this is a slightly better combination. I totally love this manicure because it contains my favorite nailpolish, it is in real christmas colors and the christmas images are very cute.

Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de kerstkleuren rood en groen, maar ik wilde ook wat glitter dus heb ik gekozen voor China Glaze - Ruby Pumps en Orly - It's Not Rocket Science. De laatste is trouwens een van mijn favoriete nagellakken. De linkerzijde van mijn nagels heb ik rood gemaakt en de rechter groen. Gewoon twee laagjes van elk. Toen heb ik M12 gebruikt, waarvan ik vind dat het een must have is voor de feestdagen! Voor mijn pink koos ik voor de zuurstok, de kerstboom voor mijn ringvinger, voor mijn middelvinger heb ik de klokjes genomen en voor mijn wijsvinger gebruikte ik de kleine schattige sneeuwman. Op mijn duim, niet op de foto, heb ik de kerstman en Merry Christmas, maar ik fotografeer nooit mijn duim. Voor het stempelen heb ik Konad Pastel Green gebruikt en ik denk dat dit een betere keuze is dan wit, want dit een toch een betere combinatie. Ik vindt deze manicure erg geslaagd, want het bevat mijn favoriete nagellak, het is in echte kerstkleuren en de kerst plaatjes zijn erg schattig.
