This one is so good right now. All the taupe kind a colors are perfect this fall! The structure of Essence is highly improved and I am so happy about it! It dries pretty fast and I like that too. Because my life is very busy, like many of yours, and when you want a fast manicure Essence is doing a great job. I love the color, what do you girls think about it?

Deze is zo good voor nu. Alle taupe kleuren zijn perfect voor deze herfst! De structuur van Essence is sterk verbeterd en ik ben er echt blij mee! Het droogt lekker snel en dat vind ik ook wel erg fijn. Want mijn leven is zo druk, vast zoals bij vele van jullie, en als je dan een snelle manicure wilt dan is Essence echt handig. Ik hou van de kleur, wat vinden jullie?

China Glaze - TTYL

Last night while I was teaching I fell in a very weird way and I became nauseous and dizzy and I thought I was going to pass out. But the worst thing my ankle said 'snap'. I couldn't move my leg and my foot. After a visit to the hospital I found out that for sure my anklets are twisted but there is a chance that my anklets are torn. It really hurt like hell and I couldn't ride my bicycle or drive a car. It's horrible. I hope it isn't as bad as it looks right now.

To cheer me up a bit I used today this beautiful holographic nailpolish of China Glaze.

This is a beauty, really. The color is hard to determine, is it red or is it brown? I think that it is more brown, because next to my red holographic nailpolishes this one doesn't look red at all. As you can see only one coat. That is really great. But if it is because there are not enough layers or that it is just the nailpolish itself, it chips pretty fast. I don't really care because I like to switch my mani's after 1 or 2 days. But if you'd like to were this a whole week, I think that there might be a problem. Are there girls who had the same experiences?

I am going to take a nap because my foot is really tiring my out! I love you all girls!

Diamond Cosmetics - Roasty, Toasty Taupe

O what an evening.. Todat was my last day that I teached the recreationgroups. A couple of mothers organized a whole goodbye-party. With different sorts of cake, candies and different sorts of drinks. And all the pupils were running from the dressingroom into the gym with roses with goodbye/thanks letters. Super sweet. And then I thought it was over, but no! The raised money for me so I can buy new nailpolishes (so sweet they thought about that!) And a few started to cry, so then I had to cry. Saying goodbye really hurts.
But philosophic: Afscheid nemen bestaat niet - Marco Borsato.. and that is right, because I won't dissapear, but for now it hurts.

Ow wat een avond zeg.. Vandaag was de laatste dag dat ik mijn recreatiegroepen heb lesgegeven. Een paar moeders hadden een heel afscheidsfeest georganiseerd. Met verschillende soorten cake, spekjes, snoepjes, chips, verschillende drankjes. En daar kwam bij dat alle leerlingen met rozen uit de kleedkamer kwamen rennen met allemaal een afscheids/bedank briefje. Echt super lief. Toen dacht ik dat het klaar was, maar nee! Ze hadden ook nog allemaal geld ingezameld zodat ik nagellakjes kan kopen (echt te lief dat ze daar aan hebben gedacht!) en een fotolijst met daarin een groepsfoto en fotootjes van mij vroeg als ukkepuk! Super lief! En toen een aantal gingen huilen, ja toen hield ik het ook niet meer. Afscheid nemen doet echt pijn.
Bij filosofisch: Afscheid nemen bestaat niet - Marco Borsato... en het klopt, want ik verdwijn niet helemaal, maar voor nu doet het pijn.

I bought this one from Miranda from http://www.miranniesnails.blogspot.com/ Just to check out if I like the Diamond Cosmetics nailpolishes. And I do! This one is a one-coater and it is so interesting. The color is pretty nude, but people notice it, and that's what I like about nailpolishes. This is one of the most easy lacquers I have ever tried. There are simple no negative points. Not one. The color is maybe not spectaculair, but it is a very nice one in my opinion!

Ik heb deze gekocht van Miranda van http://www.miranniesnails.blogspot.com/ Gewoon om te controleren of ik Diamond Cosmetics nagellakjes leuk vind. En dat vind ik zeker! Het is een one-coater en het is een erg interessante lak. De kleur is nogal nude, maar de meeste mensen zien het wel, en dat vind ik leuk aan nagellak. Dit is een van de makkelijke nagellakjes die ik ooit geprobeerd heb. Er zijn simpel weg geen negatieve punten te bedenken. Geen een. De kleur is misschien niet helemaal spectaculair, maar het is erg leuk naar mijn mening!

Tomorrow a English presentation for the first time, I am so nerveus. There is a change of 50% that I have to do it. Writing in English is going better and better.. but to pronunciation... for all those people.. hmm.. rather not.. I am never affaird for presentations or speaking in front in large groups, but it is really the pronunciation. Are there people with last-minute tips?

Morgen een engelse presentatie voor het eerst en ik ben echt bloednerveus. Er is een kans van 50% dat ik het moet doen. Zo engels schrijven, gaat me steeds makkelijker af.. maar uitspraak.. voor die mensen.. brr.. liever niet.. Ik ben nooit bang voor presentaties of spreken in grote groepen, dus het gaat echt om die engelse uitspraak. Zijn er nog mensen met last-minute tips?

China Glaze - Prize Winning Mare

So you noticed tuesday, wednesday and thursday are days that sometimes I don't have a second free time to write on my blog. But then always comes friday and then I can post almost always.

Zoals jullie misschien wel gemerkt hebben zijn dinsdag woensdag en donderdag de dagen waarop ik soms gewoon geen enkele seconde vrij ben om te bloggen. Maar gelukkig komt dan altijd weer de vrijdag waar ik praktisch altijd kan posten.

Today I want to show you a lacquer that at the first wasn't on my wishlist, but I could get it very simple and so I tried it out, and it turned out: My love for brown nailpolishes had started with this one:

Vandaag wil ik graag een lakje aan jullie laten zien die in de eerste instantie niet op mijn verlanglijst stond, maar toen ik er simpel aan kon komen toch maar geprobeerd, en wat bleek: mijn liefde voor bruine nagellak is begonnen met deze:

I have to start with not 'all' the brown nailpolishes are pretty. Brown is a difficult color because it has to match with your skintone otherwise it will be very weird (and ugly). How do you find out the fastest way? Just try, even when the bottle doesn't look interesting, on your nails it can be very different. This can be very nice with a nice fall look.

Nu moet ik meteen zeggen dat niet 'alle' bruine nagellak mooi is. Bruin is echt wel een beetje tricky het moet goed bij je huidskleur passen anders kan het er heel vreemd (en lelijk) uit gaan zien. Hoe kom je het snelste er achter of het bij jou past? Gewoon uitproberen, want zelfs al ziet het flesje er niet zo interessant uit, op je nagel kan het een hele andere uitstraling krijgen. Dit kan bijvoorbeeld heel erg aanvullend werken op een mooie herfst look.

Like always the long brush of China Glaze is very helpfull. I am very happy about this. Very easy to applie. It's almost opaque in one layer, but to be sure I used a second layer. It dries very fast and is also fast and simple to remove.

Zoals ik van China Glaze, meestal, gewent ben is het kwastje lang en erg handig om te gebruiken. Hier ben ik echt heel tevreden over. Het aanbrengen is dan ook erg simpel. Het dekt bijna al bij de eerste laag, maar over de zekerheid heb ik er een tweede overheen gedaan. Droogt lekker snel en is ook weer snel en simpel te verwijderen.

There are thousands colors brown, but if you want to try brown, try this one. There is this glow that I can't describe very well, but it is so pretty. That makes this a special nailpolish.

Er zijn natuurlijk duizenden kleuren bruin, maar als je eens bruin wilt proberen, probeer deze dan maar eens. Er zit namelijk een gloed overheen die ik niet goed kan omschrijven, maar die wel erg mooi is. En dat maakt dit lakje vind ik zelf ook wel speciaal.

Miss Helen - 25

So I just had my first (of three) tests. I don't know if I made it, but I expected to be more difficult. I hope I can tell in 2-3 weeks that I made it. Tomorrow my second test, a very hard one, a lot of nerves and today doing the last study things and hope for the best. Wish me luck! It helpt for today!

Zo ik heb net de eerste (van de drie) tentamens gehad. Ik weet niet of ik hem gehaald heb, maar ik had hem moeilijker verwacht. Dus ik hoop over 2-3 weken te kunnen vertellen dat ik hem gehaald heb. Morgen nog een tentamen, maar dat is echt een moeilijke, dus veel zenuwen en vandaag nog eventjes hard leren en dan het beste hopen voor morgen. Duimen jullie weer? Het hielpt voor vandaag ook!

As you can see above Miss Helen 25. It is a brown laquer with a golden shimmer. But in the picture you can't really see the shimmer. It is really a color you have to love to like it. And it has to fit your skincolor. Then it can be a nice laquer. Natural with a shimmer.

Zoals jullie zien hierboven Miss Helen 25. Het is een bruine shimmer met een goude glans. Al is die glans moeilijk te zien in de foto. Het is echt een kleur waar je van moet houden om het mooi te vinden. En het moet bij je huidskleur passen. Dan is het best een aardig lakje. Neutraal met een glansje.

Positive points are that it is cheap, applies well, covering is good, long lasting, beautiful shimmer and you can stamp well on it.
Negative points are that it has to fit you and the removing part is tricky.
Overall a good nailpolish.

De voordelen zijn dat het goedkoop is, het lekker smeert, het goed dekt, vrij lang blijft zitten, mooie glans en er kan wel aardig opgestempeld worden.
De nadelen zijn dat het wel echt bij je moet passen en het verwijderen is lastig.
Overall een goede nagellak.
